A Beehive of Young Volunteers Organizes the World Youth Forum

The graduates of the Presidential Leadership Program (PLP) and National Training Academy (NTA) are organizing the fourth edition of the World Youth Forum (WYF) that takes place, under the auspices of H.E. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, in Sharm El-Sheikh, South Sinai, from January 10, 2021, till January 13, 2022, on a voluntary basis. In addition to the UN agencies and international organizations keen to partner with the WYF, major national and international institutions are also keen to sponsor this year’s edition by covering all the expenses of the Forum, adding no financial burden to the state’s budget.

The WYF Organizing Team and its subteams undertake many tasks, including event management, registration, operations, crisis management, content, media production, media, PR, logistical operations and events control, booking flight tickets, transportation management, accommodation, and more. Furthermore, the team develop and update the registration system and the WYF’s official website; evaluate the applications; respond to the queries of the applicants/attendees; create the content to be discussed and tackled in the sessions and workshops; draft research papers and guidance notes; create a group of documentaries/movies; issue press releases and news reports; and solve problems that may arise.

What is more, the WYF Organizing Team works on the activities that take place on the sidelines of the WYF, such as Startup Vein, Inspire.D, Freedoom.e, the Memorial of Reviving Humanity, the World Youth Theater, and the Model of the UN Human Rights Council.

So hats off to all these champions without whom this major international youth event wouldn’t have been a reality.
