The World Youth Forum Supports Young Startups

The World Youth Forum (WYF) promotes entrepreneurship and stresses on the significance of investing in youth. Around 30 startups and institutions from around the globe participate in the fourth edition of the WYF. All of these startups strive to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the social, economic, environmental, and political levels.

Below are some of the startups participating in the fourth edition of the Forum:

AUC Venture Lab

The AUC Venture Lab provides support to entrepreneurs by increasing their businesses swiftly and in a short time. To this end, it provides a wide range of programs that are tailored based on the needs of each startup in terms of training, guidance, investment, and support. Accordingly, it helps achieve the UN SDGs by promoting entrepreneurship among youth, so that raising the standard of living.

Water Sec

Water Sec is another startup that participates in this year’s edition. It works on the development of a smart system to control water usage. This smart system ensures the rationalization of water consumption which surely helps achieve the goal no. 6 of the UN SDGs that focuses on the provision of clean water and the goal no. 12 that stresses on responsible consumption and production, as well as the goal no. 13 that calls for climate action.

Energicle

Energicle is a startup that works on the transformation of medical wastes into energy. This startup helps achieve the goals no. 3, 5, 11, 12, and 13 of the UN SDGs through the use of eco-friendly pyrolysis technology.

My TINDY

Unlike the aforementioned startups, My TINDY focuses on poverty eradication, women’s empowerment, and the revival of intangible heritage. It produces traditional handmade products.

INNOVITICS

INNOVITICS works in software development, and it tries to come up with innovative solutions in order to develop software.

With no doubt, the WYF Labs, which host many startups, including those working on a global scale, such as EDUCATLY, MY TINDY, and those working in Egypt, such as Rabbit, is a great opportunity for promoting entrepreneurship among the youth participating in the Forum.
